and I don't know the exact values (which I asked him above but he doesn't know either). In all the major engine compression calculators out there you need to know information like the deck height or when trying to find the true compression ratio stuff like the Piston Dome reading in cc's and gasket thickness, etc. Without that information I have no idea what the discrepancy number is, but I have a feeling it has to do with the above missing pieces of information. And hell, for all we know it could just be slight differences in numbers that we're talking about combined with the fact that Nissan states TOP SPEC is 186...not that it has to be that high. 154 is still within spec. Perhaps the higher number is the "ceiling" of sorts. Of course, new cars do come that high but perhaps they are coming from the factory a little different than we think? We rely on THEIR numbers until someone actually tests it.
